Terav is an abstract, stage-based 2D scrolling tank shooter that includes an original powerup system, over 30 varieties of enemies, and several bosses.

The graphics are rendered using a greyscale polygon sprite that is used as its own alpha mask and then colorized. Screenshots aren't friendly toward this game-- the screen will get unbelievably hectic and animated as devious new challenges emerge.
There are competitive online hiscores so you can compete with the rest of the world. Better scores will unlock cooler tanks, a hotter difficulty mode, and some other secrets.
This was developed using Game Maker 6. It was subsequently inducted into the Cage Match Hall of Fame on the Game Maker Community and recognized as "Better than the two earlier offerings from PopCap and Jagged Blade Software" by Independent Gaming.

I love the physics in this game. I'm really interested how you made the tank move along the hills like that. This game is really fun but also really hard. I thought the special explosion seemed out of place, though. Great game!

Great game. Very well put together. It's too hard for me, but I'm not a great gamer in the first place.
