Writer's Statement

I'd have preferred a precise, official-sounding legal statement for RoboSquid's Terms of Service, but since I don't have any experience writing such things, the closest concoction is this considerably more ambiguous document.

Preamble

By viewing this website in any manner, you signify your accordance with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy presented in this document.

Privacy Policy

RoboSquid may on occasion ask Members to provide personal information limited to the following:

• name
• address

On these occasions, RoboSquid will provide the exact context for the request including specifications on how the personal information requested will be used. RoboSquid will never compromise its integrity and disclose personal information to unspecified third parties and affiliates without express permission.

For all member data excepting e-mail addresses and password hashes (RoboSquid does not directly store any passwords), RoboSquid reserves the right to distribute that information internally amongst RoboSquid Staff and externally to third parties. This includes but is not limited to: browsing metrics, IP addresses, usernames, uploaded files, miscellaneous user submitted content, etc.

Submitting Content

User submitted content, defined as all stored content not related to the functions of the website code (including forum posts, projects, articles, etc.), must abide by the following rules:

• no pornography
• must be either the intellectual property of the person submitting, or submitted with the consent of the true authors
• cannot be consciously racial or prejudiced against real-life groups or people

By submitting content to RoboSquid, you give RoboSquid permission to duplicate and distribute that content in its uploaded form for public and private usage.

Acceptance of Staff Policies

You understand that the Staff are free to do the following without regard to reason or explanation:

• modify or remove your submitted content in any way they see necessary
• enact punitive measures against you
• change or delete your account

Disclaimer

You agree that RoboSquid is not liable nor in any way legally or morally responsible for damages physical or otherwise that may result from your usage of RoboSquid. You accept that RoboSquid cannot be held accountable for any of your actions, including those that are in direct reaction to something presented on the site.
